About me

Originally from Crawley, I have spent the last four years studying in Swansea. I began my design career during the COVID-19 lockdown. With more free time (and a great deal of boredom), I began teaching myself design through experimentation, questions, and the need to create something new. Something that first kept me occupied quickly turned into something I couldn't stop thinking about. Creating ideas that the world has never seen before, things that cause people to stop, reflect, or interact in new ways was what I fell in love with.

Later, that enthusiasm evolved into Fly Flex, a project I am proud to have created. It embodies the creativity, motion, and purpose that I find intriguing in design. It's about being adaptable, testing limits, and coming up with unconventional answers. Every time I'm creating a product or visual concept, I keep asking myself, "How can this break the mould?"

My design method is based on the Double Diamond model: I prefer to generate a lot of ideas, analyse them, and then come up with the best answer. I like working on projects that challenge your thinking and call for creativity, play, and a little risk-taking. For me, design encompasses more than just appearances; it also includes how something affects your emotions or changes your thoughts.

One of the main people that has influenced me is my father. Observing his drive and work ethic as a child taught me a lot about being dedicated even regardless of challenges. That has affected my approach to every undertaking, which is one of determination, concentration, and a belief that exceptional results can be attained with persistent work and devotion.

Aside from design, I do have a few hobbies that keep me going: I love to travel and experience different cultures, I am obsessed with aviation and Formula 1 (speed, accuracy, and raw engineering), and I am always up for a game of darts and spontaneous adventures. My friends would likely describe me as lively, occasionally insane, and constantly striving to go above and beyond.

What about the future? I don't have everything planned out. My goal for the next five years is to just continue to work hard, create, and enjoy what I do.
